Dayven

Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 17, 2026.

1. Who is responsible

Dayven is published independently by Yohann Allouane. Contact: support.dayven@gmail.com.

2. In short

3. Data processed

Your plan: activities (title, time, duration, notes, steps, color, icon, reminders, repeats), wake-up time and bedtime, settings. They are stored on your iPhone and, if you turn sync on, in your private iCloud storage. They are kept as long as you keep the app: deleting it erases the plan from the iPhone; iCloud data is managed in iOS settings.

Your calendars: read-only, never copied to our servers, never changed. For the assistant, only busy time ranges are sent, with no title or location.

The assistant: your request, the history of the current conversation, the activities concerned (titles, times, notes, steps), the busy ranges of your calendars, your language, your time zone and your wake-up time and bedtime are sent to our server, which produces the proposed plan and returns it to the app. We keep neither your request, nor your plan, nor the answer. We only keep, under an anonymous identifier, daily request counters and a fingerprint of your subscription, erased within 30 days. Limit: 50 requests per day.

Subscription: payment goes through the App Store; we never see your bank details. We receive the purchase receipt and an anonymous identifier to check that your subscription is active.

Reminders: scheduled on your iPhone, with no server.

Usage statistics: to improve Dayven, the app records anonymous actions: screens viewed, welcome steps, subscription screen, purchases completed or not, activity created, completed or moved, assistant request, Focus started, setting changed; with the language, the appearance, the device model and the iOS and Dayven versions. Never the content of your activities, your requests to the assistant, your name, your email or your location. These actions are tied to a random identifier specific to the installation, renewed every 13 months, with no named profile. You can turn them off at any time in Settings › “Share anonymous statistics”. They are kept for as long as they help improve the app.

Stability: if the app crashes, a technical report (iPhone model, iOS and Dayven versions, error trace) is sent to us, without the content of your activities or any identifier of you. These reports are anonymous and kept for as long as it takes to fix the errors.

4. What Dayven does not collect

No name, email, phone number, location, contacts, age or advertising identifier.

5. Where data is processed

Our server and our statistics and stability tools are hosted in the European Union. Part of the assistant’s processing may take place outside the European Union, within the framework provided by the regulation (standard contractual clauses).

6. Your rights

You can access your data, rectify it, erase it, object to a processing or ask for its restriction and portability. Since your plan is on your iPhone and in your iCloud, you exercise these rights directly: edit or delete an activity, turn iCloud off, delete the app. For statistics, turn the setting off. For any other request, write to us at the address above; we answer within a month. You can also contact the CNIL (cnil.fr), the French data protection authority.

7. Children

Dayven is not intended for children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data about them.

8. Security

Local data protected by iOS encryption; encrypted exchanges (HTTPS); assistant access reserved for verified subscribers; no secret key in the app.

9. Changes

This policy may change with the app. The date at the top shows the latest version; a significant change is announced in the app.
